We’ve already answered some of the most frequently asked dental questions we’ve gotten over the years below, but don’t hesitate to give us a call to ask about something we haven’t covered here!
I’m missing some of my teeth. What can you do to help me?
You deserve to enjoy a smile that’s complete and healthy, which is why we offer several different tooth replacement options at our Houston dental office, including dental implants, bridges, full dentures, and partial dentures. Dr. Gray will be happy to sit down with you and discuss these options in more detail so we can ensure that you’re receiving the treatment that best suits your needs.
How are CEREC crowns different from traditional ones?
Traditional methods for crown creation usually require two separate and time-consuming steps – the creation and placement of a temporary crown, followed by the placement of your permanent crown. CEREC® drastically reduces the amount of time you spend in our dental office and simplifies your restorative treatment by expertly milling and placing your beautiful, personalized permanent crown in just one hour-long appointment. You’ll be amazed at the results!
Do you see children?
Yes! We’re happy to welcome entire families into our Houston dental office. With our in-depth checkups, gentle cleanings, and special treatment such as dental sealants, we look forward to putting your favorite little smiles on the path towards lifelong oral health.
My gums bleed when I brush them. Should I be worried?
Bleeding gums is not a good sign. In fact, it’s usually a symptom of periodontal disease, which can have dangerous effects on the overall health of your smile if left untreated for too long. Contact us today to schedule an appointment! We take the threat of this common condition very seriously, and we’ll do everything in our power to monitor and effectively treat any problem areas that arise.
What should I do if I have a dental emergency?
Please call our 24-hour answering service and leave us a message about what has happened. We’ll be sure to return your call as soon as possible and provide you with helpful information. At that time, we can also schedule an appointment if necessary.
